Disable Wayland

  1. find custom.conf
    1. /etc/gdm3/custom.conf
    2. /etc/gdm/custom.conf
  1. Write following line into this file: 
    WaylandEnable=false
  1. add following to the first section 
    AutomaticLoginEnable=True
AutomaticLogin=admin
  1. reboot
